However, all the other aspects that come with promoting the book make the "writing part" seem like just the tip of the iceberg. Case in point- I wrote a 64 page book in roughly 4 days. Research and planning and development took me 2 and half days. I thought I was through. Not even close. The ad copy, which I figured would take me a day, actually took almost a week. The site in which I would promote my product (thank-you page,ect) took another week. Throw in cover design (via photoshop) and images, ect and you can add ANOTHER week. Of course, you still have to tie up all the loose ends and if you intend to use affiliates to drive sales, then that is even more work. So, the author is right. Writing a book can be done quickly. But the work REALLY begins after the book is finished. I agree that writing a book can be easily done within a week or two.
